The 2nd-century “Tondo of the Two Brothers” will leave Egypt for the first time, according to ARTnews. The Fayum mummy portrait — a panel placed over a wrapped mummy — will go to Italy for “Egypt and Rome, Faces of Fayum” at the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome, running 5 November 2026 to 2 May 2027, The Media Line reported.
