India Postpones 0.4% UPI Fee for Larger Shop Payments

India's UPI network will not add its planned 0.4% fee on eligible merchant payments over ₹2,000 on Oct. 15. The National Payments Corporation of India, which runs UPI, said the charge will come after Diwali because of festive shopping, without naming a new date.
