Rebecca Allen to step away from UMG UK role after 27 years

Rebecca Allen is stepping away as Chief Artist and Strategy Officer at Universal Music Group UK after 27 years. She confirmed the move in staff email on 13 October. Allen joined Universal in 1999 as a press assistant and was promoted to the post in December 2025, retaining leadership of Audience, Media & Strategy and Artist Relations.
