Ian McKellen Leads Mixed-Reality Premiere Virtually

Ian McKellen headlines the UK premiere of An Ark in Manchester as a virtual image, with no live appearance. The 47-minute mixed-reality play, blending live and digital action, runs 27 March to 10 April at Aviva Studios. Viewers wear smart glasses projecting actors into the room. Whether theatregoers accept headset theatre is open.
