Enrol by 25 October to vote in 2026

Voters must be enrolled — registered to vote — by 25 October for their vote to count in the 2026 General Election, RNZ reports. Unlike past elections, you cannot enrol and vote on the same day. Anyone not enrolled by the deadline will miss out.
