OurProperty shifts card rents to founder-linked Pay4it after surcharge ban

OurProperty no longer accepts card rent payments directly since Australia banned card surcharges on 1 October. Tenants paying by card are sent to Pay4it, a firm started in August by OurProperty founder Russell Burstow. Pay4it charges a 1.95% service fee, matching the old surcharge. Regulators are likely to examine if a new name makes it legal.
