Haunted Chocolatier is action RPG with boss fights, Barone says

Eric Barone says Haunted Chocolatier "is still what I call a town game" but is "more of an action RPG". He told GQ, in an interview published 12 October 2026, the focus is adventuring, finding equipment and getting more powerful, with monsters and boss fights. He pitched it to Stardew Valley players who go into the mines.
