BBC Alleges Deloitte Falsified Papers to Hide Abramovich Wealth

Deloitte allegedly helped fake hundreds of backdated documents to hide Roman Abramovich’s $10bn wealth and avoid tax, according to a 12 October BBC Panorama and Bureau for Investigative Journalism report titled ‘Documents falsified to evade tax on Abramovich's wealth.’ Abramovich denies wrongdoing. If proven, the case could test when advisers are legally responsible and how sanctions are enforced.
