Disney+ hires Amazon's Philip Pratt to lead German-language originals

Disney+ has hired Philip Pratt to lead original production for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Deadline reported. He joins in early 2027, based in Munich, replacing Benjamina Mirnik-Voges. Pratt spent 11 years as Head of Original Productions at Amazon MGM Studios, overseeing Maxton Hall – The World Between Us. He will report to EMEA content boss Angela Jain.
