ACT would cut $650m from disability benefits over four years

ACT would cut more than $650 million from disability benefits over four years if re-elected, RNZ reported. Its fiscal plan — its plan for government spending and debt — puts yearly savings at $12 million, then $124m, $231m and $286m. The party says the aim is to return spending per person to 2017 levels.
