Australia rejects Russian diesel in Trump-Putin supply plan

Australia does not 'need or want Russian fuel', Energy Minister Chris Bowen said on 10 October. It follows Donald Trump's announcement of Russian diesel supply after talks with Vladimir Putin. Bowen said Russia 'should not be rewarded for their illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine'. Australia has 43 days of petrol, 31 days of diesel, with 51 fuel ships coming.
