UMG sues Summer Walker, cites $50m over undelivered albums

Universal Music Group sued Summer Walker on 9 October, alleging she would owe $50 million if she exits her recording deal without delivering all promised albums, according to the lawsuit obtained by Billboard. UMG, parent of Interscope, says Walker signed a joint deal with Interscope and LVRN in 2017. Billboard was first to report the filing.
