Boyle did not ask Thatcher estate to approve AI recreation in Ink

Danny Boyle told the 70th BFI London Film Festival he declined to ask Margaret Thatcher's estate for permission to recreate her with AI in Ink, according to The Hollywood Reporter. An impersonator performed the scenes and Thatcher's face was added afterwards, used very sparingly to avoid replacing actors, the outlet reported.
