Flock Safety cuts 18% of staff amid privacy backlash
Flock Safety is cutting 18% of staff, about 270 employees, across the company under a Voluntary Separation Program, with departures at end of October. Spokesperson Paris Lewbel said the program positions the company for its next phase of growth. The cuts arrive amid backlash over its 100,000-plus license-plate cameras and people-tracking technology.
