Nearly 100-year-old Chanel dresses to headline Bonhams Paris auction

Two nearly 100-year-old dresses by Chanel, the French house, will headline Bonhams, the auction house's, “1910-2010, 100 Years of Haute Couture” sale in Paris on Oct. 21. A 1925 evening dress with jet-style beads is estimated at EUR 5,000 to EUR 7,000. A 1928 Nile green tulle gown is estimated at EUR 6,000 to EUR 8,000, Bonhams said.
