Atari Opens Preorders for $219.99 THE 800XL Remake

Atari and Plaion have opened preorders for THE 800XL at $219.99, with shipping expected in April 2027. The machine is a faithful remake of Atari's all-in-one 8-bit home computer. It keeps a clicky mechanical keyboard and built-in Atari BASIC programming language, while adding modern HDMI video output for current TVs.
