Sotheby's to sell Baum collection estimated over US$100 million

Sotheby's, the auction house, will sell the postwar and contemporary art collection formed by Theodore and Ruth Baum, estimated to exceed US$100 million — the pre-sale price range — the house said on 8 October. The group, presented as Vision, includes works by Rothko, Mitchell, Ruscha and Burri, with Rothko leading, according to Sotheby's and ARTnews reporting.
