Google launches Playground, browser tool that makes games from text prompts

Google announced Playground on 7 October 2026 and launched it the same day in an experimental phase. The browser-based platform builds playable games from text prompts, short typed descriptions of an idea. It requires no coding experience and no download, Google said.
