
Google Signs 20-Year Nuclear Deal to Power Data Centers
Google will buy nuclear power from Constellation Energy for 20 years under a deal announced Oct. 6, 2026. The arrangement funds efficiency upgrades at 11 reactors at six sites in Illinois, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The work should add 890 megawatts over five years for Google data centers on the PJM grid. Constellation will invest more than $4.3 billion.
