Franz & Marie opens at Charing Cross Theatre

Franz & Marie has opened at Charing Cross Theatre. The musical adapts Georg Büchner's Woyzeck, described by the theatre as a classic German tragedy. Teresa Howard adapted it. Music is by Rob Shepherd and Chris Broderick. Jade Oswald and Brenock O'Connor lead a 14-strong actor-musician ensemble, meaning the cast play instruments live.
