
SEC Keeps Three-Person Quorum, Revises 30-Year Rule
The SEC will still need three commissioners to act, with two exceptions. That replaces a 1995 fallback rule that let one or two remaining members count as a quorum, or minimum number to decide. This is the first update to the quorum rule in 30 years.
