Saia says flash-based AI chip offers 8x capacity at quarter power of Jetson

Saia is building a chip that runs AI tasks directly on the device from flash storage, bypassing conventional memory. The startup, which TechCrunch noted drew investor interest at Pear VC's PearX demo day in San Francisco, claims eight times the capacity at one-quarter the power of Nvidia's Jetson. Test chips are due in 2027, mass production in 2028.
