Australia's first heritage-listed payphone named in Narooma

Australia has heritage-listed its first payphone: the Telstra phone outside Narooma Plaza on the Princes Highway on NSW's south coast. It was listed for social and historical value, after serving as a community lifeline during the Black Summer bushfires, when it kept residents connected to the outside world.
