Glenn Irwin hospitalised with feared spinal fracture after Donington crash

Ducati rider Glenn Irwin was taken to hospital over fears of a possible spinal fracture after crashing at Starkey's Bridge on the penultimate lap of the third British Superbike race at Donington Park on 4 October. He was conscious and stable throughout treatment at the circuit medical centre, per BBC, before transfer to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for imaging.
