Nobel Week 2026: What to Expect, 5-12 October

Six Nobel Prizes will be announced over six days starting Monday, 5 October 2026, through 12 October. The first announcement, Physiology or Medicine — the award for medical and biological discovery — comes no earlier than 11:30 CEST. Expect the order to shape coverage, so wait for the full citations, the official reasons for each win, before judging.
