Isaah Yeo to delay chest surgery to captain Kangaroos at World Cup

Isaah Yeo will delay surgery on a pectoral — chest muscle — injury to captain Australia at the Rugby League World Cup. Coach Kevin Walters named him skipper in a 23-man Kangaroos squad on 5 October. Australia open against New Zealand in Sydney on 15 October. Yeo was rated doubtful in late September 2026 after Nathan Cleary was ruled out.
