Tennessee Prison Chief to Resign After Failed Execution

Tennessee's prison chief Frank Strada will resign after Christa Pike survived two lethal injection attempts, Gov. Bill Lee announced Oct. 3. Strada said leaving was "in the best interests of Tennessee" and called the ongoing investigation into what happened "entirely appropriate and necessary."
