Sperm Whale Cracked Yacht Hull and Sank It Off New Zealand

A sperm whale cracked the hull — the boat's outer shell — of a yacht off New Zealand, sinking it in the remote South Pacific. The four-person crew took to a life raft and spent about 18 hours adrift, floating without steering, before being rescued.
