Apple Reportedly Tests Motion-Sensing Camera That Skips Video

Apple is reportedly building a home security camera that detects movement with AI but does not save video, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported via Engadget Oct 2. The small cylindrical sensor would capture very few images per second and pair with the unannounced J490 home hub. In my view, skipping recordings could make such sensors more acceptable in private rooms.
