Prince William makes surprise video tribute to Dame Deborah James at Rebel Ball

Prince William made a surprise appearance by pre-recorded video message at the inaugural Bowelbabe Fund Rebel Ball at the Hurlingham Club in London. The evening was held on what would have been Dame Deborah James's 45th birthday. William called her “incomparable” and an “amazing woman”. He conferred her damehood at home weeks before her death in 2022.
