Affleck says Netflix thriller Animals used AI trained only on cleared material

Ben Affleck told The Hollywood Reporter he used AI for "lots of things" on Animals, which he directed, co-wrote and stars in. A proprietary dataset avoided extractive use and rejected copyrighted training, a discrete set not about making fake people or replacing anybody, he told The Hollywood Reporter.
