French 10-year bond posts worst quarter since 1987
France's 10-year OAT — its key government bond — had its worst three months since 1987, then rose another 10 basis points (0.10 point) on Oct. 1, 2026, the Miami Herald reported. Higher yields mean costlier government borrowing, which can push up loans. I see wider stress across European bonds, not just Paris.
