Universal Music promotes Frank Briegmann to lead Europe, Canada, Australia and NZ

Universal Music Group promoted Frank Briegmann to chairman and CEO for Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Deutsche Grammophon, the company confirmed on 1 October 2026. He continues to report to chairman and CEO Sir Lucian Grainge. Briegmann joined UMG in 2004 to lead Germany and became president of Central Europe in 2013.
