Netanyahu hails wounded Flydubai captain as 'true hero'

Wounded captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian Flydubai pilot stabbed in the cockpit — the jet's control room — opened the door so crew and passengers could overpower his attacker, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. Netanyahu called him a 'true hero' for preventing disaster. Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv, with 170+ aboard, landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
