Victoria faces heaviest southeast storms

Southeast Australia faces widespread rain and thunderstorms, heaviest in Victoria. Senior meteorologist Dean Narramore said most of Victoria may get 25-50mm, Melbourne 30-50mm, with Gippsland and central, eastern and Otway ranges over 100mm, up to 150mm. A trough, a band of low pressure, and a low will merge into a slow moving low.
