Former defence chief more worried about U.S. unrest than invasion

Retired Gen. Wayne Eyre, Canada's defence chief from 2021 to 2024, told The Globe and Mail he worries more about unrest in a divided U.S. spilling into Canada than about an American invasion. He said Canada can still trust its military ties with the U.S. and urged top commanders to stay in direct contact.
