Ex-defence chief fears U.S. disorder spilling over more than invasion

Retired Gen. Wayne Eyre, defence chief from 2021 to 2024, told The Globe and Mail he is far more concerned about disorder in the polarized U.S. crossing into Canada than a U.S. invasion. He said he has seen no indication Canada cannot trust its military relationship with Americans and urged direct commander-to-commander contact.
