Saudi Crown Prince Promises Firm Response to Houthi Attacks

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said Sept. 30, 2026, Saudi Arabia will not compromise on security despite Houthi attacks. Speaking for King Salman at the Shura Council, the kingdom's advisory body, he said the kingdom would respond firmly to any security threat while still seeking de-escalation, or lower tensions. He accused the Houthis of choosing "chaos and destruction."
