Judge approves settlement clearing $111 billion Paramount-Warner Bros. merger

U.S. District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín approved Paramount's settlement with 12 Democratic state attorneys general, clearing the final barrier to its $111 billion Warner Bros. Discovery merger, Variety reported. Paramount has tentatively set 6 October to close, according to regulatory filings. The deal already holds clearance in 68 jurisdictions including the U.S. Justice Department, Variety reported.
