Emma Navarro reveals three-year RED-S and thyroid battle

World No 24 Emma Navarro says she ignored health problems for three years. The 25-year-old American disclosed in an Instagram post she lost about 14kg in 2023-24, then faced fatigue, dizziness and brain fog. She was diagnosed with RED-S in late 2025 and Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. She spoke of "deep internal anger" on court.
