Prime Minister Andy Burnham said he would be 'really concerned' if Manchester City's Abu Dhabi owners sold the club. The BBC published the remarks on 30 September. Mr Burnham said he will stay out of the case. The Premier League said on 29 September an independent panel — separate judges — had found the club guilty of major spending-rule breaches.
