Oasis block October 3 tape auction with London injunction

Oasis blocked the planned Oct. 3 auction of its tape archive after filing an injunction in a London court, The Independent reported. Littleton Auctions managing director Benjamin Homer confirmed the tapes were withdrawn due to legal proceedings, Rolling Stone reported. Former sound engineer Huw Richards made the recordings; his son Owain Richards said both agreed to postpone the sale.
