New York sues Evolutions Festival promoters over $264,000 in missing refunds

New York Attorney General Letitia James sued Evolutions Festival promoters on 29 September, alleging they kept $243,158 from 521 ticket buyers and $21,663 from 28 vendors after the 5-7 September 2025 event at Sugar Mountain Performing Arts Center never happened. She seeks restitution, penalties and a $500,000 bond for future events.
