Eiffel Tower Chief to Leave After Women Staff Sidelined for Visit

Patrick Branco Ruivo will step down as head of SETE, the company that runs the Eiffel Tower, at the end of 2026, the operator announced 29 September 2026. The decision follows criticism after women staff were told to stay out of view and replaced by men for a Hindu religious delegation's visit.
