Israel Sent Jets Over Flydubai Flight in Hijacking Scare, Later Ruled Out

Israeli fighter jets were sent up Sept. 30 over a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv after fears of a possible hijacking. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with officials to assess the threat. Israel later ruled out hijacking. The plane diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and landed safely.
