HBO Max and Paramount+ to merge under Casey Bloys

David Ellison has announced HBO Max and Paramount+ will merge into one streaming platform after Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, Deadline reported. Ellison plans for Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, to lead the combined service. Ellison said the choice optimises for stability at HBO.
