Paramount's 5 chief guarantees 5 News independence

Reemah Sakaan, president of Paramount's 5, guaranteed Channel 5 News impartiality and independence at the RTS London Convention on 29 September, Deadline reported. Answering BBC News journalist Katie Razzall on US political interference concerns, Sakaan said commitment to independent, ITN-produced news has been redoubled. 5 News has a legal impartiality duty under British broadcasting rules.
