Turkey detains refereeing chief Ferhat Gundogdu in corruption inquiry

Ferhat Gundogdu, president of Turkey's Central Refereeing Committee, was arrested with six other board members in a police investigation into corruption in Turkish football. The seven include the body's vice-president. Police searched homes, workplaces and offices as part of the inquiry, the BBC reported.
