Protego Ventures Raises $125M for Israeli Defense Startups

Protego Ventures has closed a $125 million debut fund to back Israeli defense technology startups, TechCrunch reported September 29, 2026. The two-year-old firm, led by Lital Leshem and Lee Moser, describes itself as Israel’s first and largest venture fund focused solely on defense tech. It plans investments of $5 million to $50 million, below its $150 million target.
