Burnham puts social care at centre of next election

Reuters reported Prime Minister Andy Burnham said in Liverpool on 27 September he would fight the next election on social care reform. He pledged to bring forward proposals to tackle the crisis. He spoke at Labour's annual conference, which runs to 30 September.
